Threading
the future
Emmevi was born from a love story, the one of Valter and Mariangela. They had little experience, one garage and inexhaustible enthusiasm. They started buying and reselling kitchen carpets.
Emmevi took off: customers increased along with the volumes. The garage became too small. We then moved into our first warehouse and started changing our products.
The business expanded in Italy and abroad. Emmevi started participating in the first international fairs: MACEF – DOMOTEX – HEIMTEXTIL
The apprenticeship was done; the experience was gained, and the time was right. EMMEVI acquired the looms and the coating plant: we became manufacturers.
Emmevi os a national and European leader in the manufacturing of kitchen carpet. At that time the production process took place in 5 different factories through the work of 120 employees.
The complex management of the operations called for the construction of a single factory. In need of a single, more spacious, and well distributed area, the current Cuceglio Headquarters was born.
I nuovi spazi consentono di impostare volumi
The new Headquarter allowed us to set larger volumes, new investments in automation, further expansion of the market and the development of new product lines.
We took on a new challenge: we started working with cotton in order to produce a highly valuable product using stick looms.
To contain the spread of Covid-19, in just one week the company change its production and started manufacturing masks, producing 20,000 pieces per day.
We bet on a new business enterprise. We purchased new systems for digital printing on textile and plastic supports. Adding color to the sophistication of our products.
