SEMIOTIC ART “NFT TEXTURE PRINT” COLLECTIONS OF UNIQUE DIGITAL AND PHYSICAL WORKS FROM RECYCLED TIRES
Genova Genoa Presented from 16 to 18 February 2024 at ARTE GENOVA 2024, the new collection of works by the artist ALEX PAPAVASSILIOU, created with NFT digital technologies and innovative tire recovery processes, in collaboration with EMMEVI MV in the “threading the future” project.
The NFT TEXTURE PRINT collection is generated, starting from an original work, from which the artist develops a collection of unique digital NFT works, thus creating artistic creations that are not only unique in both digital and physical form, but also respectful of the environment using cutting-edge production systems capable of "weaving emotions from recycled materials".
“Semiotic Turn” is a cycle of works created between 2021 and 2024, dedicated to the new way of seeing human existence revealed by Semiotics, the study of signs, in homage to the main protagonists of the “semiotic turn”: Ferdinand de Saussure, Algirdas Julien Greimas, Charles Sanders Peirce, Umberto Eco, Roland Barthes and Bruno Latour.
